Christmas Dinner Food Drive - "Can" you help?

Help Us Collect Enough Food for 400 Christmas Dinner Boxes

In partnership with Sunshine Mill and Salvation Army...

Please join us in collecting food for Christmas Dinner for the less fortunate in our community.  Salvation Army will be distributing 400 Christmas Dinner food boxes this year.  This is double the number they distributed last year due to the temporary closing of St. Vincent De Paul's food bank.

(Last year MCHF staffers packed 200 food boxes.)

Specific items are needed:
  • 15oz canned fruit
  • 15oz canned corn
  • 15oz canned green beans
  • 15oz canned mixed veggies
  • 15oz canned yams/sweet potatoes (for pies)
  • 15oz canned cranberry sauce
  • Dried packet gravy mix
  • Medium box instant potatoes
  • Regular size box oatmeal

A take home version of the shopping list is available at drop off locations.

Food donations will be accepted November 1-15 and can be dropped off at the following locations:

M-F 5:30AM-9PM, Sat. 7AM-6PM, Sun. 1PM-6PM
