Target Grant Awarded for Reach Out and Read Program
The Mid-Columbia Health Foundation is pleased to announce that our Reach Out and Read Fund was awarded a grant from Target. The grant will be used to purchase books to be given to children ages 6 months to 5 years attending Well Child Exams in Mid-Columbia Medical Center outpatient clinics.
"Having the support of a large corporation like Target recognize our local Reach Out and Read Program is amazing," stated Celeste Hill-Thomas, executive director of the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation. "The Reach Out and Read Program has been a part of Mid-Columbia Medical Center's Well Child Exams for the last 9 years. We've given out thousands of books in that time and this grant will allow us to give out even more."
