Welcome to Mid-Columbia Health Foundation
Help for the Chaplain's Fund Mid-Columbia Medical Center has a long history of supporting patients in their time of need. As we work towards our vision for a healthy community we encounter patients with needs that reach beyond traditional medicine. Transportation, lodging, clothing and food - the basic necessities we have come to expect are out of reach for many. The Chaplain's Fund is in place for patients of Mid-Columbia Medical Center facing medical emergencies to get the essentials they can't always provide for themselves. Help us provide patients with prescriptions, gas cards, taxi vouchers, clothing, food vouchers and more. We hope you'll consider a gift to the Chaplain's Fund; there's no better time to give than right now. Your donation will go a long way in making this winter comfortable for our most vulnerable neighbors.
As we gather with our family and friends this Thanksgiving let us remember what it is to be truly grateful. Thank you to those who volunteer at our events, fundraise on our behalf and donate to the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation, allowing us to work towards our shared vision; building a healthy community.
Festival of Trees
Festival of Trees 2014 will be an event to remember! Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, December 5 for our live auction of 30+ decorated trees. These one-of-a-kind trees have been donated to the event by individuals, businesses and organizations. From nutcrackers, to snowmen and a special tree made of blown glass, these trees will delight viewers and buyers alike. This is a 21 and over event that takes place at The Dalles Civic Auditorium in historic downtown The Dalles. Admission is free, but registration is greatly appreciated. Festival of Trees also features a silent auction with themed gifts and baskets of every kind.
Get your tickets by calling 541-296-7275 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Community Day takes place Saturday, December 6 following the live auction event. Community Day is sponsored by Fred Meyer and is open to EVERYONE in the community. Attendees will have a chance to view the trees before they are delivered to their new homes and Santa will be there for photos with children. Admission is free and the event runs from 9:00 AM to noon.
